Florida Polytechnic University - Gary C. Wendt Engineering Building

About the Project

A new chapter in STEM education is taking shape at Florida Polytechnic University with the construction of the Gary C. Wendt Engineering Building — a modern, 40,000-square-foot academic facility designed to support innovation, research, and student success across a range of engineering disciplines.

As the electrical contractor, our team is proud to help bring this high-performance, future-focused facility to life alongside Charles Perry Partners, Inc. and DLR Group, the architectural firm behind the building’s forward-thinking design.

The two-story structure will feature laboratories, faculty and staff offices, flexible collaboration areas, and a modern conference suite — all equipped with electrical systems to support technology and research. An exterior courtyard will connect seamlessly with the adjacent Barnett Applied Research Center.

This facility will be the third academic building on campus, joining the landmark Innovation, Science, and Technology Building and the Barnett Center. It marks another significant step for Florida Polytechnic University.
